Trip Up North

Our Holiday up north was fun overall... here are some details

  • First day was okay, a relaxing day, at the cafe sipping my latte(It was actually an iced-chocolate).
  • Second day was a BIG MESS. Boat ride was alright till rain came. Camera got wet, not the worst. On the way to the key feature of the tour, people started getting sick... and it just wasn't fun... yes... I was one of them... but i didnt puke.... HAH.. can't saying anything to that can you!!!  (anything anything anything)
  • After the boat ride, got back to the motel, i took a shower... a RIDICULOUS shower that has a whole lot of power, but if blast power goes up, temperature goes up as well...... so it was as weak as taking a shower under a straw....
  • Third day, was real fun. We went up all the way to the Ninety-Mile Beach. We discovered that it wasn't actually ninety miles.. They "didn't know" where that name came from. It was actually ninety-kilometres long.... On the way there, We went to the very top of the North Island, Cape Reinga.Took some awesome pictures of the scenery there. Before we got on the tour bus to go to our lunch spot few minutes away, backflip kicked out. Later, we went to some giant sand dunes.. the bus driver got two stacks of special plastic boards made for sliding down the sand dunes. Mick and I took a ride down a shallow one while most of the others went down the real real real shallow ones.. so shallow that - anyway... we went down... decided it was fun... went up to the very top.... there was noone there... only both of us... looking down the steepest point of the sand dune. I was still recovering from the puffing of my lungs and the rattling beats of my heart, caused by the steep climb to the top from the side of the dune... I didn't believe I would make it down the dune and not break a bone.... on the dune where it was slightly less steep, was carved in capitals - MCDONALDS. A straight line followed down the side of the carving in the sand, someone went down on that part of the dune... then I looked at the sand in front of us. Clean, flat, no lines, no grooves. Noone has gone down this point before... it was the steepest point... I said to Mick: 'Noone's gone down this part of the dune before'. He replied: 'We'll be the first' I caught my breath, got ready, and we both kicked off. We got all the way to the bottom safely... except... in different manners.
  • Last day, hung around, checked out of motel, went to a glow worm cave... it was pretty good... then stopped at a cafe for a lunch break during the journey back to Auckland.

That was our trip to the North.

Left hand guitar?

NO............. IT'S NOT A LEFT HANDED GUITAR... AND I DIDN'T CUT THE NECK IN HALF AND STICK IT ROUND THE OTHER WAY EITHER... EVEN IF I DID..... IT WOULDN'T HAVE WORKED....

Squier Showmasters and Stagemasters are guitars with reverse headstocks... I've lost count of the number of people that asked me wether i was playing a left hand guitar... Looking at the cut-outs might help you tell the difference between a left hand guitar to a right hand one....

So... that's what i've got to say...

..../?

On Saturday the 11th of March, me and a few others, including two photographers, went for a free-run in Albany Junior High. Terrain wise, it's awesome for professional free runners, and I'm talking about traceurs as good as those in the Seidojin from Urban Freeflow. It's got beautiful gap jumps, and high walls, and easy-access roof-tops..... hahaha... A teacher told us to leave the school not long after one of us(not me) ran along a roof and jumped onto another roof. If the teacher saw him on the roof, we would have been taken out of the school in police cars.... hehehe.... Anyway... all of us except one were injured, so we didn't go hard. it was a pretty good day despite the restrictions and circumstances. Another good thing on that day was that, my Adidas Nova trainers work really well... it was so sticky that it could almost stick to the wall if i was gonna climb one, and it absorbs a lot of shock... and the shoes fit so well that the amount of control you had over them was just amazing. It was so light I couldn't feel anything but soft cushioning on my feet. Awesome shoes. Check them out here:

That's all I got for y'all...

Update

Back online from the malfunctioning wireless router...

Well... nothing much to say... I still love free-running... haha...  hasn't been progressive though.. hopefully we'll get a proper run coming up this saturday.... Hopefully get some pictures...

Guitar's coming along pretty well i guess...

Learners license.../? I wish I've got it....

Underground 2? hehehe.... well... I'm still not sick of it even though i would love NFS:Most Wanted Black Edition....U2's good enough... although it's missing the very aspect that i love about Need For Speed... Cops...... hahaha.... Wreck them...... Play tricks on them.... lead them into massive accidents... and best of all ... smokin' them....

Well... I really want a car..... A BMW 320i (E36) would be appreciated.... but to acquire a car and be able to run it..... I need a job... but I'm too lazy to get a job... as I will have to sacrifice time for other things for the job......

Anyway...

That's all there is for now....

I thought I'd just do a bit of writing coz my blogs kinda boring...

I've been thinkin... how can people make such long posts/entries in their blogs...? mine doesn't even last more than 2 paragraphs before i get bored (apart from the new year entry, that can be excused... right?).

Few days till you go back to New Zealand aye?
Yea.

Are ya all packed up?
No.
Why not?
Because I leave things to the last minute when it comes to packing.

For those of you reading this blog, don't bother askin me.... coz my answers ain't gonna be different.

Now... why did I make that conversation up instead of just saying: "I'm a last-minute packer." ? Because I wanted to make my entry longer than usual. But it's still kinda short compared to other blogs, know what I mean? No? Well I don't really care.

I wonder what else would keep people like you - Yes, you the reader - reading... Maybe the fact that I'm just throwing rubbish at yer faces, but you're wondering how this entry will end. Well I guess I better end it good then aye?

SO... this is my ending..... and I just wasted some time which you could have used to do something else useful... what? angry? hah...  please take note that 'Anger' is only one letter short from 'danger'...but hey.... that was my plan....hahaha... I dont usually do this... so please kindly come back for a read next time..... it would be more rescourceful.....yeap....

BYE!

for those of you wondering... I am NOT gonna give up free-running... not in the near future anyway...... cause it's such a cool sport....

MEZZOFORTE:Forward Motion

Mezzoforte:Forward Motion...

A very good jazz cd.... very very very very good... but for it to be that good.. it's on one condition... dont use laptop speakers... otherwise, it's got real good music... if you don't believe me, ask Mick or Caine..... real cool stuff....

The 'Best Of' version of Mezzoforte only exists as the one and only 'Mezzoforte Best Of' cd left among all Tower Records branches. And the last one is in KLCC. It's probably gone by now... hehehe

2006!

                                                   He is the Alpha

I thank God for giving us another year in the world. I thank him once again for sending His one and only Son so that we will be with God in heaven when we leave earth. I also thank Him that even if it was only me in the world, and no one else, He would've still died just for my sins.

I thank God for all the lives that have been saved in the past year. I pray that year 2006 will be a year which many many more lives will come to God. I also pray that God will impart into everyone of us, a deeper passion for the Word.

I thank God for Summer Harvest. A camp full of fun, sports, music, food and most importantly, the presence of God. I pray that people will leave the camp with their lives changed, and never to be the same again.

I thank God for all the relationships that I have built and strengthened through the past year. I pray that through this year, I would get to know a whole lot more about everyone of my friends.

I thank God for all the escape routes from the difficult trials in the past year, although some haven't really been knocked down yet. I pray that He will guide me through these trials, and that i will be stronger in Him than I ever was before.

I thank God for putting so many interesting people into my life and also for the blessings they have been to me. I pray blessings upon them.

I thank God for all my recent interests(e.g. free-running). I pray that they won't just be interests that take the boredom out of me, but interests to do His work.

I thank God for being the awesome God in my life.

Resolutions? Here.
-Get a job in NZ
-Save money for a car
-Achieve Backflip
-Achieve Aerial
-Build stronger relationships

I need my Learners!!!

I need my learner's licences... Once I get back to  New Zealand... I'm gonna get a job to start saving for a car...... If my parents allow me my learners that is......

Oh... hehe.. I haven't explained why I need my licence...

I need it because I just can't afford to keep asking people to take me to places.... eg school, church, cell group, etc....

But then again... the nowadays young drivers in New Zealand cause so much trouble. They don't even drive properly...     -the only teenager I know of that drives properly is my bro Mick -      .... because so many teenageers are influenced by movies like 'The Fast and the Furious', and '2 Fast 2 Furious'.... Flippin street-racers.... Although I have to admit... I used to like street racing, and told myself that it could be one of my hobbies when I get my car... but right now..... nah... actual driving is more of a luxury than racing in the streets...

Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.... enough for today...

Went Shoe hunting on Saturday for the Adidas Nova running shoes, but when we got there, they didn't have my size, which was one or two sizes up from the biggest they had (UK 8). So Ian got it instead. A size UK 7.... I'm guttered.... but oh well..... Today.../? went out again to look for some t-shirts. But didn't get them. Instead, Mick got a new polo-T. Oh no.... when am I gonna get something that I'm looking for....

I got nothing else to say....... so just wait for the next update.....
